Tuesday's Vaal Meeting

Tuesdays meeting opened with an upset in a workriders race IMPERIOUS LIGHT won for Thomas Ncume and Mike de Kock to beat INDIAN WAR DANCE under Tshepiso Matsoele who ran on from last to get second.

The second saw the favourite FULL ROYALTY winning for inform combination of Ryan Munger and Ashley Fortune. The next saw DANCING DORA winning well for Muzi Yeni and Fanie Bronkhorst with the favourite SING GIRL SING clearly needing the run after 20 weeks off.

Race 4 saw another winner for Gavin Lerena with EARL getting home under a great ride. Favourite FLYING BULL could only get third ahead of second favourite BEY SUYAY, expect these two to bounce back next time. ROSE WILLOW caused un upset in race 5 under Jeffery Syster for Brett Webber who won well beating Gavin Lerena on DARK TRAVEL.

A favourable result saw LAST CHEER under Kabelo Matsunyane who is also in good form beating CAP ESTEL under up and coming apprentice Kaidan Brewer for the Azzies. He made amends in the next winning on CRIMSON CAUSEWAY for G van Zyl from Edward Longshanks for the Ryan Munger/Ashley Fortune combination.

The last saw GODDESS OF LIGHT under Craig Zackey for Paul Peter win a good race from the consistant SAMOA and Gavin Lerena.

Was worth catching exotics with a bipot payout of R16 600 and p6 of 250k!

A Strong Day at Kenilworth

Kenilworth got punters off to a good start as TRIVIAL MATTER won well under Richard Fourie for Eric Sands from RIDGE TO REEF and KING OF COLTS both worth following in there next start as is ACT OF THUNDER who ran on well to finish 5th and is clearly looking for ground!

The second was a small but very competitive race with T'CHALLA win well under Grant van Niekerk for Justin Snaith beating ALL ABOUT AL. The third saw a quick dble for the Eric Sands /Richard Fourie combination with PERFECT TRUST winning well from a running on RAISING QUINN who should be followed over 1600m+.

Race 4 saw the favourite NTINGA win for Richard Fourie and Justin Snaith from ZIPPY OVER. A meeting doesn't go by without Keagan de Melo having a winner, he booted home outsider OVER TWO YOU to beat a well supported THUNDER MASTER to win race 5.

The sixth saw well supported DOUBLE CHARGE win well for Grant Van Niekerk and Andre Nel, the intial favourite drifted off the boards and ran accordingly and will definitely be there next run. The seventh gave trainer Vaughan Marshall a bit of a consolation with LOOK FOR HOUNDS winning under S'Manga Khumalo. The final race saw the favourite bring another winner for Keagan de Melo for his stable Dean Kannemeyer see a p6 of R28k which was a fair payout for only 1 result.
