THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) The bridle on PERFECT TRUST (M Byleveld) had to be replaced at the start.
b) HELEN’S BLUSH (*J Solomons) was slow into stride.
c) BILLIE JEAN (D Ashby) was stubborn loading.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) There was a delay to the start of this race as the bridle on PERFECT TRUST (M Byleveld) broke and was replaced. The bridle was examined by the Stipendiary Stewards and found to be in a satisfactory condition.
b) In view of the report from the Starter regarding BILLIE JEAN (D Ashby), Trainer AD Steyn will be advised to have this filly reschooled before her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
c) PERFECT TRUST (M Byleveld) raced green.
d) REALLY ROYAL, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Snaith was advised. (TJ)
