THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) MAGICAL MIDLANDS (A Andrews) reared in the stalls, dislodged the rider, was taken out, examined by the veterinary surgeon and withdrawnp, causing a delay.
b) I DID WHAT I DID (*L Tarentaal) was restless in the stalls.
c) DOUBLE NICKEL (S Cele) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride.
d) FAIRY WARRIOR (S Mbhele) jumped slow, losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) Apprentice L Tarentaal, the rider of I DID WHAT I DID, reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding. The veterinary surgeon was requested to examine.
b) DOUBLE NICKEL (S Cele) raced green.
c) SAKURA TRICK (C Orffer) was hanging out from the 300m.
d) In view of the report from the starter regarding MAGICAL MIDLANDS (A Andrews), this colt’s starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable. Suspension dates: 03/06/2020 to 09/06/2020 inclusive). MAGICAL MIDLANDS may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
e) FIGHTER (*J Solomons) returned suffering from a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 120 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. f) HYDE PARK, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer J Snaith was advised. (TJ)
