The Grand Heritage, Saturday at the Vaal

While there only 17 acceptors that will start in the headline feature from the 56 nominations, the WSB Grand Heritage still promises to be a great day out.

OSCAR WILDE trained by Mike de Kock appears to be the bookies favourite. OSCAR WILDE will be ridden be Callan Murray.

Other favoured options include:

• EXPRESSFROMTHEUS trained by Stuart Pettigrew and ridden by Marco V'Rensburg despite the top weight.
• FULL MAST trained by Mike and Adam Azzie and ridden by S'Manga Khumalo but also carries joint top weight of 60kg.
• ROUGE ALLURE is well suited for the distance. The mare is trained by Stephen Moffatt and will be ridden by Gavin Lerena.
• Clinton Binda's WHORLY WHORLY won the final race on Summer Cup day will have Jason Gates is in the saddle.
