On Saturday the 23rd January at 15:45 the Grade 3 SEA COTTAGE STAKES for three year olds will be run on the Inside course over 1800m at Turffontein for R125 000 prize money.

Ten useful 3 year old colts and geldings will compete in what is classed as a Grade 3 event.

Dubai World Cup Carnival

The Dubai World Cup Carnival 2021 is worth about US$6 million in prize money and will be held across seven race meetings, running from January to March.

The carnival opens with the first race on Thursday, 21 January, 2021.

It is a carnival of top-class international race days contested by the most high-profile owners, trainers, horses and jockeys in the world. It runs alongside the domestic racing at Meydan season.

JET DARK stuns elders in dramatic LQP

JET DARK, the only three year-old in the 2021 G1 Queen’s Plate delivered a knockout blow to accomplished older horses in a 1600m epic, just as Gimmethegreenlight had managed for the self-same training outfit, Snaith Racing (Justin Snaith), when also pitted against the big guns as a three year old in 2012.

After HURRICANE HARRY had set a steady pace with CIRILLO and SILVER OPERATOR stalking, it was RAINBOW BRIDGE who made what seemed the decisive move in deep stretch down the centre of the Kenilworth Summer course.
